AI Slides™ Translator ("we", "our", "us") is an AI-powered presentation translation add-on operated by TransAgent. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our add-on.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account via Clerk, we collect your email address, name, and profile picture. This information is managed by Clerk and subject to their privacy policy.

Presentation Content

We access the content of the presentation files you upload (slides, speaker notes, charts, tables) only to perform the translation you request. This data is sent to our translation API, processed, and returned. We do not store your presentation content after translation is complete.

Usage Data

We collect basic usage data such as the number of translations performed, language pairs used, file sizes, subscription status, and credit balance to manage your account and improve the service.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide the presentation translation service you request.
  • To manage your account, credits, and subscription.
  • To process payments through our payment provider (Creem).
  • To respond to support inquiries.
  • To generate anonymized, aggregated analytics to improve translation quality.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the following:

AI Translation Service

Presentation content is sent to our AI API for translation and is not retained after processing.

Payment Provider (Creem)

Your email and payment details are shared to process transactions.

Authentication (Clerk)

Your email is used to manage your user account.

5. Data Retention

Presentation content (slides, speaker notes, charts) is processed in real time and not stored. Account information (email, credit balance, subscription status) is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion by contacting us.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for all data transmissions. Presentation files are processed in isolated memory environments and deleted after translation. We never use your presentations to train AI models.

7. Your Rights

  • Request access to your personal data.

  • Request a copy of your account data in a portable format.

8. Cookies
