By accessing or using TransAgent ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

TransAgent provides AI-powered translation services for text, documents, images, and videos. The Service is available through our website and API.

We strive for high-quality translations, but AI translation may not be perfect. The Service is not a substitute for professional human translation in critical contexts such as legal, medical, or regulatory documents.

You must create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

The Service uses a credit-based system. Credits are consumed when you perform translations. Credit costs vary by translation type (text, document, image, video).

Paid credits and subscriptions are processed by our payment partner, Creem. All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.

Subscription plans renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your account settings.

Subscriptions include a 7-day money-back guarantee from the date of initial purchase. Unused credit packs may be refunded within 7 days. Full details are available in our Refund Policy.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Dashboard or via the Creem customer portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

We respond to all refund and support requests within 3 business days.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Translate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or violates the rights of others.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI models.
• Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or credit systems.
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization.
• Transmit malware, viruses, or any malicious code.
• Overload the Service with automated requests beyond API rate limits.

You retain all rights to the content you submit for translation. We do not claim ownership of your input or output content.

The Service, including its design, logos, and underlying technology, is the property of TransAgent and protected by intellectual property laws.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that translations will be error-free or suitable for any particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TransAgent shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to TransAgent in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior.

You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which TransAgent operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
